My family and I immigrated to the United States in the late 1990s, and arrived in Ohio where we lived for several months before moving to North Carolina. We have been residents of Greensboro ever since then.

I graduated from UNCG with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010. I have worked in various adult critical care units as a Registered Nurse. Currently I am employed in an Intensive Care Unit, caring for the cardiovascular populations. Outside of my profession, I have volunteered with translation and interpretation, assisted our members to appointments, and served as a liaison in our community church. I have volunteered alongside other community members and with nonprofit organizations to advocate for Montagnard issues in Southeast Asia.

I am honored to join the Community Advisory Council this year and look forward to collaborating with the Research Network and our community members. I believe that with our expertise and talents, we can make a difference to alleviate the health disparities that are occuring in our communities across North Carolina.
